There are dozens of careers available in the Electrotechnology industry. Careers range from Computer Systems Technician, Electronic Technician, Instrumentation Technician and many more.

To get into an Electrotechnology apprenticeship you must be at least 15 years old. Most employers also require completion of year 10 (year 12 preferable) and people who are able to demonstrate:

Good numeracy and literacy skills
Ability to diferentiate colours
Good communication skills
Punctuality
Ability to work at height and in confined spaces
